Normal Babyy is a Riga-based interdisciplinary art duo. Their collaborative work blends physical performance, sound, and conceptual experimentation to interrogate the structures—both visible and invisible—that shape perception, behavior, and meaning. They explore themes ranging from compulsion and self-identity, to randomness and cognitive patterning, electromagnetic force and psychological charge, and the paradoxes of automation and authorship.

Their performances frequently question the boundaries between intention and influence, structure and improvisation, human agency and systemic control. In recent works, they have turned to sonic and affective atmospheres, emotional precarity, and speculative posthumanism that presents a critical reflection on institutional power and the illusion of autonomy.

Elza Auguste Zīverte
ZÄ«verte (1996) is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice focuses on performance and the intersection of technology and the body. Since 2017, she has taken part in numerous exhibitions and projects across Latvia. Her work explores the body as a mediator of sensory experience — extending perception beyond sight and hearing to include touch, smell, and spatial awareness. Through improvisation and collaboration, she investigates unpredictability, embodiment, and the ways technology can shape and translate human experience.
Kristofers Knesis
Knesis (1991) is an artist, composer, and performer working with modular synthesis, AI, and generative systems. His practice focuses on sound as an evolving process shaped by chance, randomness, and the limits of control. Each performance becomes a new configuration of possibilities. His compositions have also been featured in film soundtracks and video-based exhibitions, where they extend this exploration of unpredictability into other forms.
